En nuestro deseo de cerrar el año con un cantaor, invitamos a Antonio Ortega, conocido ya en nuestra peña, a la actuación que tuvo lugar el 19 de Diciembre del presente año 2008.
Antonio Ortega, hijo, natural de Mairena del Aljarafe estuvo acompañado a la guitarra del artista Manuel Herrera (Manolito Herrera para los aficionados). Estuvieron muy bien los dos.
Antonio nos hizo unas Malagueñas, Alegrías, Tangos, Soleá, Soleá por Bulerías, Caracoles, Seguiriya y Fandangos personales. Tuvo la amabilidad de invitar a su padre Antonio Ortega, a cerrar la noche, que para eso estamos en navidad, por unos villancicos que cantaba Manuel Torres. Muy bien también.
Una noche más vivimos una buena noche de peña y una buena noche flamenca. Esta vez nos acompañaron dos socios muy queridos por nuestra peña, de la Peña Flamenca de Huelva: Eduardo H. Garrocho y Jesús Naranjo.
Por motivos ajenos a nuestra voluntad, la actuación de Laura vital no se pudo llevar a cabo.
